Just listing the big number of events and other ways in which Anneliese supported St Nicks over the years I've been involved would take up several screens. Having organised quite a few of them, I was always struck by how much energy and passion Anneliese put into every single one - from performing her own poetry or teaching St Nicks staff to take better pictures (this one was taken before she taught me!), to helping others find their words. Few punters resisted her encouragement to have a go at her regular poetry writing corners at our annual Apple Day (also known as Autumn Fayre) where the 'The Amazing Adventures of Pip the Seed' was born in 2011. Despite her often poor health Anneliese would always give us her all.

I am honoured to have had the good fortune of meeting and working with Anneliese. I'm also very glad I occasionally met for chats and kept in touch outside of work too; only wish there could be more... I miss Anneliese's positivity and kindness.

Huge thanks from all at St Nicks go to both Anneliese, Mike and all the friends supporting the charity on this page. We're planning to use the funds for some sort of a permanent tribute to Anneliese, such as a bench in the nature reserve from which people could observe the wildlife she loved so much. We'll post an event on the page when we know more.
